Night Market packs our downtown with food, art, music, drink and fun for one night - Friday, August 7th from 5:30-9:30!
Musical performers are joining together to bringing on a musical journey celebrating the evolution of American Music! From Jazz to Soul, Funk, Ska and Punk!
Featuring:
DJ Decor, EcoFinch and our headlining act, The 603 Brass Band!
Also performing: - The Peterborough Players with a special preview of their upcoming show, Emma.
- The Flying Gravity Circus, providing acrobatics and fire juggling!
Makers Market: 70+ makers from around our region, selling their art, home decor, artisan made homegoods, apparel, plants and more!
At the Peterborough Town Library - The Evolving Poetry Party: Add your voice to PTL's evolving community poem- the library will feature a huge magnetic poetry wall. Grab a drink from the Night Owl Bar, toss a few rounds of cornhole, and create a custom Night Market 2026 button with the PTL button machine. Stop by to see what evolves throughout the evening!
The MAXT MiniGolf Course Sponsored by Monadnock Country Club: Our Junior Creative youth group built a special Monadnock Themed 9 hole mini golf course for your enjoyment at Night Market!
Collaborative Mural sponsored by RiverMead Join our muralist Loren Beata to create a new Night Market themed mural!

The First Friday of the month (April - December), the merchants of Downtown Peterborough keep their doors open late to welcome you!
Stroll around and discover the unique shops, restaurants and galleries all within easy walking distance. Each location has something special … From books to cigars to jewelry, and delicious pastries, chocolates, to original art, WE HAVE IT ALL. Even a gift for that “four legged” member of the family! Partake on all the area has to offer and then finish off the evening with dinner at one of the many restaurants in Downtown Peterborough. Thinking take out? Lots of options available for you to take home.

7th Annual Listen and Lunch
Every Thursday from Noon to 1pm, from June through August live music featuring local artists.
Listen & Lunch is a free event in Depot Park!
Bring your lunch, a blanket, folding chair and spend your break listening to local musicians! Better yet, meet your friends, bring your family, have a picnic and celebrate all the talent in our area!
ALL AGES WELCOME - Ample free parking, easy access.
